Robertsfors Bruksmuseum
Take the opportunity to discover the history of the mill!
Robertsfors Bruksmuseum provides an insight into how the industrial community of Robertsfors grew from the small village of Edfastmark on the Rickle River to become Robertsfors Bruk and later also a high-tech centre.
The collection includes electric locomotives and wagons from the end of the 19th century, various tools used at work and at home, and a newer high-tech section.
The Robertsfors as Sweden exhibition is on display upstairs, and for anyone with a child's mind we recommend the Children's Mill playground.
Our cosy café serves homemade coffee and sandwiches and we also sell a selection of crafts from the local area.
With car from Umeå center: Follow the E4 heading north for about 55 km, turn left to go to Robertsfors. Follow the road för about 4 km and then turn left at the sign "Bruksmuseum". Continue for approximately 400 m to a three way crossing and turn left. Follow the road for about 100 m, the museum will be at the en of the hill.
